Artisans traditionally depict real and imaginary animals in their work, and we’ve reflected this mystical mix in our design. Created with Casa Don Juan, who supports Tilcajete crafts people, this piece it’s an exciting blend of Mexican heritage and modern engineering.

Beauty, tradition, historical legacy. ​​​​​​​ Artisans from Olinalá in Mexico’s Guerrero region have passed on their lacquerware skills for generations, producing highly detailed, brightly colored craftwork. Traditionally carved in linaloe wood, their style depicts local flowers and animals in intricately patterned boxes. At Victorinox we want to pay tribute to Mexico’s vibrant cultural heritage and have collaborated with Consejo Regulador de Lacas de Olinalá and expert artisans to create stunning designs for our pocket knives. Combining Victorinox engineering prowess with Olinalá craftsmanship, each piece brings history to life.
