As a young teenager, I received a Cyber Tool S as a gift. I don’t remember the exact year, but it was a long time ago. Over those years I’ve used it on and for so many things, since it was the only real tool I had. Prying open plastic shells with the bottle opener/flathead, tightening and removing all manner of screws with the fantastic bit driver and included variety of bits, and cutting and stripping wire with the knife were all frequent tasks. Admittedly, I abused it badly, cutting things I shouldn’t have, never cleaning or oiling it, and when I decided to finally give it some much deserved love recently with a thorough cleaning and sharpening, it only added to my perception of how excellent it really is. After all, it was no new discovery – the way it held up and continued blazing through projects all those years without maintenance always impressed me, and I’ll never forget that experience. The way the blade never really dulled too badly despite scraping wire across it countless times, combined with the fact it never showed even a hint of rust or tarnish, and the ease with which it can be resharpened all left a very positive impression. The overall build quality was no different, having always felt incredibly durable and resilient, and its lifespan, and the degree to which it really sprang back to looking and feeling like new with very little effort served only to support that.

Trusty companion

I’ve always been put off by the size of the Cybertools as there large size make them unwieldy to both use and daily carry. But when I heard that the cybertool S was due to be discontinued I had to snag one.

The size is surprisingly fine for me. It’s a 3 layer tool but the bit driver layer is thick so it’s more comparable to a 4 layer. I wouldn’t personally go for any of the larger cybertools as this is comfortable to grip and carry. 

One large issue that I have with the knife that stops me from loving it is the access to both the knife and bit driver. Due to the knife being right next to the driver it makes accessing the nail nick of the knife very difficult. It can be done with a bit of effort but still a bit tricky. The bit driver is even harder to access. Many times I have to lift the knife just so I can get a good grip on the bit driver to pull it up. This isn’t an issue on the larger cybertools due to the driver not being placed next to the knife.

Happy I bought this tool before it disappeared but unfortunately won’t be holding onto for daily use

Das Cybertool S begleitet mich schon seit weit mehr als 10 Jahren. In dieser Zeit hat mich der praktische Helfer schon so oft in allen möglichen Situationen unterstützt. Sei es als klassisches Sackmesser mit allen Funktionen und Vorzügen, als auch mit all den Bit Einsätzen als Schraubenzieher. So manches Notebook, PC sowie allerlei andere elektronische Geräte habe ich damit zerlegt. Wichtiges Detail (zumindest für mich): Die grösseren Cybertools liegen nicht mehr so gut in der Hand, zum Schrauben geht das S Modell am Besten weil der Schraubenzieher mittig vom Sackmesser platziert ist. Bei den grösseren Modellen liegt er irgendwo am Rand, empfinde ich dann nicht als optimal.
Aber auch der Kugelschreiber hat mir schon oft nützliche Dienste erwiesen. Nicht zu vergessen die Nadel - schon zig mal im Einsatz gehabt, top!

Liegt gut in der Hand und ist nicht zu leicht so kann man das Messer 🔪 gut für Kleine Reparaturen gebrauchen super Qualität Binn voll zufrieden

I have had one of these for many years on my desk and I must have used it a million times.  I love it.

All rounder

My Cybertool predated the L, M, S, and lite versions.  It would be considered now to be the S version and I got it in transparent blue.  The socket setup is perfect for the small screws and driver you may need for working on a computer or mother board.  I always carry this tool as well as an old Swiss Flash 2GB when going to work in the center at the college.

I bought this CyberTool S for my wife as a Christmas present. In just a few short days I have watched her assemble a New TV and a Bed Frame. Get a splinter out of her finger, open many boxes and tighten her reading glasses. In my opinion it has just the essential tools to get common jobs completed.

Had my first Cybertool S for 19+ years, and only have to buy a new one since my original was lost in a motorcycle accident.  As a long time IT technician, I very rarely had need for any other tools when working on computers.  The Cybertool S is compact, easy to use and very well made.  It handled far more abuse than it should have.

Almost all you need to be an IT Tech

This is the perfect Swiss Army knife for someone who wants a little more than a Spartan or Tinker but has no need for a whole bunch of extra tools the bigger models offer. For most people, this knife will be all you need everyday.  For work I usually carry  The Ranger, SwissChamp or a Huntsman, but on my days off, this is my go to knife usually.

Meu primeiro canivete suíço. É muito prático para se manusear. Tem o tamanho perfeito. Muito justo, forte e robusto. É uma honra trabalhar com uma ferramenta tão boa. E muito legal empunhar uma ferramenta tão bonita e apresentável em frente aos clientes.

I don't have much to add. In this tool you have a complete screwdrivers set. 99% of the screws can be screwed/unscrewed by this one. I like it more than the other variations (the 34 and 41) because it has less unnecessary things that usually used in different occasions (like the pliers and the saw wich are more suitable for outdoor tools).
If you need to work a lot with screws like me I can't recommend better tool.
