Ich habe das Victorinox Fieldmaster Taschenmesser jeden Tag in meiner Tasche, um mich im Alltag zu begleiten. Die Werkzeuge haben schon so manche Situation gerettet. Es ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, sodass es jetzt nach langer Benutzung noch immer wie neue aussieht.

Gut gemacht, aber für meine Hände (Handschuhgröße7-8 bzw M) zu klein - wenn man ernsthaft was machen will, brauche zumindest ich ein etwas größeres Werkzeug, das ich dann vernünftig festhalten und handhaben kann. Für die Hosentasche für alle Fälle sonst aber sicher gut, vor allem gefällt mir die kleine Klinge. Dennoch - insgesamt zu klein, daher retour

I bought this recently after deciding to buy a swiss army knife, and its lived up to all my expectations. I bought the oil to go along with it in case some off the tools were a bit stuck but i can say they all work perfectly. the scissors are some of the best I've used and all the blades are sharp and will cut with ease. the screwdrivers work great and so do the rest of the tools I've used so far. My one complaint is that the hook is a bit difficult to access for me, as i have smaller nails and the part you use to fold out the hook is partially blocked by the key ring, so if they could possibly resolve this issue in future models i think it would be perfect. but overall thats a very small issue, so i still believe this is  a five star knife.

I ordered my Fieldmaster knife from Amazon but my scissors are broke..  i just rcvd it today. I came to this website to see if I can fix my knife.

Disappointed

This was my third Victorinox knife and as usually, it does not disappoint! Although I was concerned about the heftiness and size of the knife (it is a 4 layer) I find it still feels great in the hand and certainly still very manageable in the pocket! It also offers a great variety of tools suitable for almost every situation. Along with the knife blades, the scissors are immensely useful, the saw is razor sharp (cute through a 2in wide branch like butter), and even the carry hook is useful for hauling grocery bags!
The only thing I could see that might bother some people is the lack of corkscrew, but if that's the case, just get the Huntsman instead (same tools but the Phillips-head is swapped for a corkscrew).

A great knife with a tool for every situation!

Das rote Victorinox "Fieldmaser" ist vergleichbar mit den beiden "Huntsman" (camo und blau-transparent), die ich bereits besitze. Anstelle des Korkenziehers ist beim "Fieldmaster" ein Kreuzschraubenzieher verbaut. Die "Fieldmaster" und "Huntsman" sind meiner Meinung nach die einzigen 91mm 4-Layer Modelle, die man noch bequem in einer Hosentasche tragen kann. Grössere 91mm Modelle wie das "Swisschamp" spricht zwar Jungs im Teenager-Alter an, bleibt sicher eher in einer Schublade liegen. Die beim "Fieldmaster" vorhandenen Werkzeuge, decken ein sehr breites Spektrum im Alltag ab. Bei meinen beiden Favoriten Victorinox "Evogrip S18" und "S17" überzeugt mich die robustere Schere (von Wenger) zwar mehr. Dafür lässt die die Schere beim "Fieldmaster" bedeutend besser ausklappen.  FAZIT :  Wer bei einem Taschenmesser keinen Korkenzieher braucht und auf eine feststellbare Klinge verzichten kann, ist mit dem vielseitigen "Fieldmaster" gut bedient.

Je ne m'attendais pas à être déçu d'un couteau Victorinox mais la preuve que tout arrive.
Defaut de l'acier sur une face de la lame scie, defaut visuel et tactil. Impossible de joindre le service client, dommage.
Je recommande tout de même leurs produits, l'erreur est humaine mais j'aimerai pouvoir les joindre.

Ich habe dieses Messer vor zirka 35 Jahren gekauft und es ist noch immer funktionsfähig so wie am ersten Tag. Natürlich muss man die Werkzeuge nach Gebrauch schon reinigen, aber ansonsten ist das Messer unverwüstlich.

Victorinox what a fantastic company, their products are quality. I first brought a Hiker which was great carried it for awhile but I realised I needed scissors, whilst looking through the extensive range of knives available I found the Fieldmaster it has all the same tools as the Hiker with the addition of excellent scissors and the hook. It's the same as the Huntsman but with a Phillips screwdriver instead of a corkscrew which I have no use for. It's been used everyday since I brought it last year even the hook has saved the day on a few occasions, I carry mine in a Victorinox belt holder it's light to carry with a very satisfying weight to it when in the hand, the wood saw is great works extremely well the whole thing is quality. My Hiker lives in the kitchen many tins have been opened by it!  Believe it or not but this little Swiss Army Knife has kept London Buses on the move on more than one occasion ! The Fieldmaster has a good range of useful everyday tools that all work perfectly, it's only four layers thick too, would be nice if available in different colour scales but that can be done in a Victorinox store which by the way is well worth a visit the London store is amazing.

What I liked the most is the ability of customization, you can choose the color and add writing on it.

I bought this knife back in '91 when I started getting into hiking every weekend. I have kept it with me every day since and it has never failed to be useful. I have used every tool on my knife numerous times and it's still going strong. I tell people, "forget about the American Express card I don't leave home without my Swiss Army Knife."

25 Years and still going strong.

I got it last year at Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Gatlinburg,Tn. Since I got it it’s been very useful, and light weight to Cary around every day. I’ve used it to open many different packages and other items, and the Officier Suisse blade is just as sharp when I first got it. The Phillips screwdriver is also nice, especially when I don’t have any other screwdrivers around. The scissors are also a tool that I had to have on a multi-tool knife. The wood saw is extremely effective. I am currently 16, and I can tell this is a knife that I can give on to a future generation one day. I would highly recommend this Victorinox to anyone that likes practically, and a rugged multi-tool knife that is lightweight and tough.

I have this Swiss knife for more than 5 years now. The steel is very smooth and it hasn't rusted a bit. The blades are sharp till now. A must have for a road traveller.

Good product

I have received the Field-master Wounded Warrior Project with US flag. I have, in the past, had a small Swiss Army knife, now with this one I see greater utility and ease of use on a daily basis. I know of others that don't want to be without theirs.

I want to rename this "The Whittler", because it has the perfect combo for woodwork:  The large blade for removing lots of material, the small blade for detail work, a saw to cut your branch to size to begin with, and an awl for drilling.  The hook is great for fishing a pot out of the fire, and the other tools make it handy around the house.  I wish they produced this knife in the larger size and added a file (but kept the small blade)!  All around this is a great camp or woodworking knife.

Fieldmaster have very efficient tools,especially for me!
but it was very nice to be a little smaller, a size between small and medium products.
Slot and Phillips screwdrivers,Scissors,Opener and Blade, I think these tools is very important in any adventure. ;)

The big efficient

Ok, so you need both scissors and a saw? Well who dosen´t? And you don´t drink wine and have no glasses? Then the Fieldmaster is for you my friend! Two blades means that at least one is always sharp and you have one extra just in case. Can Opener and Bottle Opener is a must, wirestriper will help you jump start your car and screwdrivers are always needed. Speaking of screwdrivers, the central mounted Phillips, is not quite as clever as a side mounted one (as on the Explorer) but still it´s a good compromise. It can also be used to make small holes in the dirt, when you are planting seeds. Next to the Phillips, is a small hole in the side-scale that will hold a needle. (Fixed those clogged "windsheild sprayheads" on your car, for example, not included, just a tip.) You can upgrade to Original Plus scales and that will let you carry a pen. Just buy them online. There is also glow-in-the-dark ones! The awl can be used to sow a tent or clothing shut, which can save your life if it´s cold. The hook can be used to twist metal wire, thighten shoe laces, carry a parcel, open certain cans, turn the knife into a smart-phone stand, secure the pen (just place the pen in the slit and gently close the hook down on it, so much easier to write that way.) Make sure to add a mini LED-flashlight, a ferro-rod firestarter and a small emergency metall whistel and you will be set to go into the wild! Red scales makes the knife easy to find in snow, brush and even under water.

I ordered the Fieldmaster online a couple of weeks ago and love the variety of useful tools it has while still maintaining an overall compact size. For the $50 price tag I think it's a great value.  Delivery was prompt (mine arrived 2 days earlier than scheduled!) and it arrived in excellent condition.  
I plan to use it mainly when I'm hiking and camping but keep it it my purse 24-7 since I never know when it will come in handy.

Great Swiss Army knife

I really don't know why this knife is branded "new" on the page because I've had mine for YEARS! It is truly indestructible! It served me well in my military "adventures" and continues to serve me extremely well in my medical (Paramedic) and Sheriff's Department duties. I was thinking of upgrading to a different model, but I can't argue with the success I have had with this great model!
