This is everything you expect from this company. I have many pouches (and even more knives) and all still going strong many years on.

Usual quality.

This is an extremely useful pouch that does what it says on the tin!  The velcro-based belt attachment mechanism is quite versatile, as it allows vertical or horizontal belt mounting options, as well as two different vertical heights of position on the belt.  The nylon is good quality, well finished and thick enough to protect the contents from the majority of knocks as well as from the weather.  

Opening the pouch and accessing the knife is not a quick process, nor it is quiet (lots of velcro noise), but this is not meant to be a tactical item.  The handy piece of green string on the top flap can either be used to pull the pouch open or can even be employed by untying it and repurposing it as a lanyard by attaching it to the lanyard ring or threading it through the lanyard hole, depending on the model of your SAK.

The pouch is also reasonably low-profile, apart from the Victorinox logo on the flap giving the game away somewhat, but its dimensions are reasonably large so it could easily be mistaken for something that holds a multi-tool for example.  

The value for money element is there too, as this looks like a durable item that will not need replacing any time soon.

Robust, secure and good-looking pouch

I alternate carrying a SwissTool X and a Work Champ and this pouch can carry either of them just fine.  It provides easy access and it looks good on my belt.  The finish of the pouch is nice and it is a good color.

Very well made pouch, easy to open thanks to the lanyard attached to the flap and even the material feels kinda cheap, it also feels to be water repellent.
The belt loop is made from two parts connected with velcro, so you don't need to remove your belt to attach the pouch and it can be attached to the tactical molle system.
My Soldier 08 fits perfectly, this means that any 111mm range knives with up to 3 layers fit too, like the Trailmaster, dual density knives, Sentinel knives, Hunter XS/XT and so on.
Its hard to remove the knife from it if you don't have a lanyard attached to the keyring.
I did not test it with the Spirit multitool as i don't have it.
The only downside of this great pouch is, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in United Kingdom, been searching for it for a half year in both online and high street shops, on the end i had to order it from Germany and the postage cost just made this already expensive pouch even more expensive totaling enough to buy a Huntsman Lite instead.
Almost every shop in Britain has the Soldier 08, but none has this pouch for it, very disappointing.
So as i said more times before i am very sad about the accessibility of many Victorinox products in UK and as i live very far away from your flag store in London, for me its cheaper to order from Brazil than visiting the store.

Great for the Soldier 08

I am in the US Armed Forces and I received this sheath/pouch along with the Soldier's knife as a gift from a friend in the Swiss Army. It is one of the best knife sheaths/pouches I have ever used. The knife fits perfectly inside, while the nylon material completely protects it from the elements. The strap is easy to place on/off my utility belt without having to take my belt off. I have not placed this on my body armor yet, but the strap will definitely work with the MOLLE straps. The velcro fasteners make it very easy to remove the knife, and the removable string is perfect to assist in opening it as well. When in uniform I completely forget the knife is on my belt as the sheath/pouch is very soft, comfortable, and not at all bulky. The color is perfect for use when in uniform as well, but unfortunately not available in any other colors like tan or sage green. If you get the Soldier's knife, you must get this sheath/pouch! (FYI: many Swiss soldiers really do use this pouch with the Soldier's knife, and for good reason!)

SIMPLE PERO EFICAZ

Ich habe die Tasche für mien Outrider gekauft. Dieses passt super und es ist auch noch ein wenig Platz für ein Schärfer oder sonstiges.
Was ich an der Tasche toll finde ist das sie nicht nur am Gürtelgefestigt werden kann sondern auch problemlos an Rucksackschlaufen, D-Ringen oder wo man das Messer auch immer griffbereit haben möchte.
Das Soldatenmesser passt auch sehr gut.

Ich nutze die Tasche immer auf längeren Wandertouren wo ich mein Messer sicher verstaut haben möchte.
