Ich gehe nie ohne das Messer ausser Haus. Die Werkzeuge haben mir schon in vielen Fällen den Tag gerettet. Habe mir jetzt das 3. bestellt da ich leider wegen dem neuen Messerverbot die Klingen am altem Messer entfernen werde um es weiterhin mitnehmen zu können.

Es ist aber immer noch ziemlich handlich.

Esta navaja es un accesorio fino con un detalle y amor en su armada. Encantado con este regalo util y bastante recursivo cuando estoy en la naturalueza. No te deja varado ella siempre brinda una opción para resolver tu problema. Valio la pena tener esta navaja. A parte de la navaja le tengo más accesorios como el cordon rojo para colgar en el cuello, el cordon pequeño para darle un toque de disticción y tambien su estuche para colgar en la correa. Perfecto anclaje en mi llavero metalico Victorinox.

Incroyable tout ce qu'on peut faire avec. Costaud, je l'utilise depuis plus de 11 ans. je l'aiguise régulièrement avec une pierre à huile très fine... Il nous libère d'une épine dans le pied, comme nous arrange un ongle écorné... La lame de couteau est la plus utilisée, ainsi que le tire bouchon, qui est toujours apprécié. Les tourne-vis ne sont pas en reste, le gros, et le tout petit qui peut resserrer la charnière d'une paire de lunettes...
J'ai déjà fait appel à un coutelier pour le fournir à nouveau d'un cure-dents. J'ai commandé sur le site il y a 3ans des flasques que j'ai clipsées, pour lui donner un coup de jeune, car les anciennes avaient été un peu ébréchées. Je lui ai attaché une boucle de cordelette bien jaune pour ne pas le perdre s'il tombe dans l'herbe, ou un fourré. J'ai cousu un petit étui où je le range, mais j'y ai mis également une petite boussole, et un duo de tire-tiques, une petite lampe, et un petit balai pour épousseter les champignons... 

J'ai conseillé à Victorinox de produire un couteau de poche disposant d'un tire-tique adapté pour tout ceux qui sont souvent en contact avec ces bébêtes, dont il convient de se débarrasser le plus vite possible et efficacement. Ils disent avoir pris en compte la demande... (Ils font bien des couteaux de techniciens, de mécaniciens, de pêcheurs, de marins... ) Pourquoi pas celui d'un artiste qui photographie, peint, promène ses chiens ?

Ce sera bien le moment où Victorinox proposera à la vente cet outil dont je serai un des premiers à disposer.

Mon seul regret est la qualité du composite de la loupe, qui j'en conviens, doit composer entre sa souplesse pour ne pas casser au premier choc, mais la surface de la lentille est trop fragile et se raye très facilement.

Dank der Tatsache, dass ich bei Wanderungen ohnehin einen Rucksack mit 3..5 kg Fototechnik mitschleppe, fällt das Gewicht nicht auf. Mit den unendlich vielen Funktionen bin ich damit für viele Zwecke gerüstet.

My husband is super impressed with his new knife. He has already been using it and not even had it a week yet.

Perfect gift

The finish is not the best quality (punching marks visible). Blades/tools don't always fit straight into place. The sharpening of both knife blades was left unfinished. I really don't understand that Victorinox has become a "money-grubbing" company that leaves the finishing of tools/knives at a level that you usually only see in Chinese pirated products.

Almost there...........

Das Swiss Champ habe ich inzwischen in drei Versionen. Darunter auch eine sehr alte Version (ab 1985), die durch starke Nutzung leider nicht mehr so richtig gut funktionierte. Nach einer Wartung durch Victorinox läuft nun alles wieder rund. Viele Teile wurden auch getauscht. Vor allem bei den teureren Modellen ist zu gegebener Zeit eine Wartung sehr empfehlenswert.

Neben den vielen und sehr nützlichen Funktionen finde ich es auch schön, dass man die Messer ein wenig anpassen kann. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, Wenn es zukünftig weitere Ersatzschalen gibt (rot und schwarz in matt z.B.). Sehr schön sieht es in der Tarnfarbe Navy aus. Um Schalen selbst zu tauschen braucht man nur ein wenig Geschick. Holzschalen gibt es auch, die sind ein klein wenig komplizierter. Auch Zahnstocher und Pinzette gibt es in verschiedenen Farben, von denen ich sehr gerne rot und schwarz nutze.

Aus meiner Sicht passt es gerade noch gut in die Hosentasche. Durch das recht hohe Gewicht aufgrund der vielen Funktionen empfehle ich allerdings eher das Tragen am Gürtel.

I purchased my display model Swiss Champ from an REI store in 1990 and it has served me faithfully for over 3 decades now!  I’ve taken it to England, Canada and from New York to California in the USA and I still get Ooo’s and Ahhh’s every time I take it out to accomplish a task nobody else has the tools to tackle!  I have only sent it in for repair one time after using the scissors to cut too many yards of carpet by hand—and Victorinox replaced the scissors no questions asked!  What a company, what a product—looking forward to many more years of reliable and joyful use!

Von all meinen Victorinox Messer ist das Swiss Champ mittlerweile mein Favorit und täglicher Begleiter. Zur Auswahl stehen aktuell ein Tinker Klein, Tinker Deluxe, Explorer, Handy Mann, Spartan, Pioneer Alox. Oft hat man das Problem dass man morgens seine Auswahl trifft welches Messer man den Tag mitnimmt und dann kommt eine Situation am Tag, in der man ein Werkzeug braucht, dass gerade das Messer hat, welches man heute nicht dabei hat. Das ist bei mir schon oft vorgekommen und ist echt Ärgerlich.Als Vater von zwei Kindern mit einem alten Haus und Garten gibt es immer etwas zu tun wo man mal schnell Werkzeug braucht und nicht immer erst welches suchen oder holen möchte. Auch beruflich (Bau und Beschlagsbranche) leistete mir das Messer beinah täglich gute Dienste. Für diejenigen die das Gewicht und die Größe vielleicht etwas abschrecken kann ich hier Beruhigung geben.Das Messer ist wirklich kleiner wie man sich anfangs eigentlich vorstellt und nach 1-2 Tagen in der Hosentasche hat man sich auch an das Gewicht gewöhnt. Wem das trotzdem zu unangenehm ist der kann auch mit einem super verarbeiteten Holster von Victorinox arbeiten. Mir ist es allerdings in der Hosentasche noch am liebsten. Die meisten Smartphones heutzutage wiegen genauso viel und sind weitaus Klobiger und unhandlicher in der Tasche. Die Verarbeitung ist wie gewohnt tadellos alles sitzt es klappert nichts und alles greift schönen einander. Preisleistung kann ich nur empfehlen. Ich hatte mir erst das rote Modell bestellt und bin dann auf schwarz umgestiegen. Ein echter Blickfang und mal was Anderes. Wirkt durch die Farbe nochmal edler.

My first Victorinox

Mein Vater schenkte mir mein Swiss Champ zu meinem 10. Geburtstag und am 24.7.2022 wird mein Messer 30 Jahre alt und ich 40ig :-) Ich habe sehr viel mit diesem Messer erlebt und es half mir in unzähligen Situationen und war so häufig ein treuer Begleiter und Retter in der Not. Ich möchte es nicht mehr missen und freue mich auf weitere Abenteuer und Endteckungen mit meinem EDC Swiss Champ. Nach all den Jahren funkioniert es immer noch tadellos wie am ersten Tag:-) Eine wahrhaftige Legende dieses Sackmesser. An dieser stelle möcht ich meinem Vater danken für dieses wundervolle Geschenk.

Begleiter seit meiner Kindheit

Ich fand es auch grossartig, dass ich die bestellte Lieferung hätte zurückschicken können. Als ich die beiden Messer in der Hand hielt, bin ich erschrocken, sie waren mir zu dick. Aber die beiden Herren, denen ich sie geschenkt habe, finden sie toll.

Ich finde euer Messer sehr gut ,habe es seit ca. 3 Jahren, inkl. Tasche.  Leider vermisse ich eine Feststellklinge, wie bei dem Messer welches ich mir 1998 in einem Shop von euch gekauft hatte.
Wenn man viel das Messer benutzt, ist es sinnvoll, dass es beim benutzen nicht auf einmal einklappt, dies ist sehr schmerzhaft.
Bei dem älteren Modell passierte dies nicht, leider wurde es mir bei einer Veranstaltung, wo ich arbeiten musste entwendet.

Una todo terreno

Seit einigen Monaten nun als EDC in Kombination mit einem Victorinox Manager am Schlüsselbund im Einsatz. Möchte es nicht mehr missen. Wie bei den meisten eierlegenden Wollmilchsäuen: Man kann einen großen Anwendungsbereich abdecken, für manche Tätigkeiten ist spezielles Werkzeug besser geeignet - dafür hat man das SwissChamp sofort parat und muss nicht erst den Werkzeugkasten holen.

Von Größe und Gewicht ist es für mich noch handlich (Handschuhgröße 10-11), im Alltag führe ich es in einem Tasmanian Tiger Toolpocket S am Gürtel mit - passt hier gerade so rein.

Kleine Optimierungsmöglichkeit: Unter Säge + Entschupper passt eine Nähnadel mit 1-2 Meter Faden umwickelt. Fällt nicht raus, sofern nur ein Tool geöffnet ist. 

Zusammenfassend: Sehr vielseitig, jedoch auch sehr groß und schwer. Muss man mögen - ich tue es ;-)

J'en avais un avant, il m' à été volé dans mon véhicule et c'est la raison pour laquelle j'en ai recommandé un autre.

C'est un super outils multifonctions, et je ne peux pas me passer de l'avoir avec moi, il vous dépanne dans de nombreuses occasions.

C'est vraiment " un couteau Suisse " et qui plus est, d'une très grande qualité, solide et serviable.

I have had mine for about 3 years. I still have not used all the tools.

And to be honest any of the camper, hiker, tinkers would have been sufficient for me. But I do like that I have these extra functions on it. It's just cool to have ;) 

Because it has more tools it is not as practical in practice. Cutting, even using the scissor, or the korkscrew, I prefer a simpler vitorinox knife. Mainly because the smaller ones are more handy and comfortable in my palm. 
Another point why I give it only 4 and not 5 stars is that the korkscrew got bent really easily and since then it keeps pointing away. Having a leather case, it is all nicely tucked in, but without it, things can get tangled in.

I can compare this knive to the swiss mechanical watches, like Omega for example. Excellent, really!!!

Masterpiece

I needed a smaller and less heavier pocket tool to carry when camping for overall camping chores, cooking and bushcrafting. (even to go out in the city, you never know when you will need it.)

I use it to make fire, to clean fish, to open cans, bottles, wines, to fix things such as your fishing gear (I fixed the bike of an airbnb host :D)  Also good to have it to cut wire to make simple snares (when needed during long camps).

I am quite happy with the quality and I carry it with me whenever I go. I would usually use a belt knife (mora garberg) but this tool has started to show up in my hand more often when it comes to small tasks (carving, slicing and etc) 

Wish the big blade had locking mechanism.

High Quality Compact Tool

I've had a trusty Victorinox Recruit as an EDC for over 10 years since I received it as a gift from work.   I recently treated myself to a new Swiss 
Champ, and I have to say it is liberating with all the tools I have at the tip of my fingers!   

I love my Swiss Champ.  It has almost every useful tool you will ever need in daily life and outdoors, in such a compact, well thought out, and quality package, it's absolutely brilliant!  The only limitation is your imagination with the tasks you can accomplish with it.   I actually like the size, as it gives you a substantial and comfortable grip when cutting with the main blade.  For carry, it fits perfectly in the coin pocket of all my jeans, can't feel the knife in my jeans, and I forget it's even there.  I especially find useful the magnifier, pressurized ball point, and scale in cm and inches.  Use it all the time.  It inspires confidence you will always have the tool you need for any circumstance that should arise.  

The only thing I wish for is a lockable main blade.  I know a locking blade would prohibit the Swiss Champ in certain countries like the UK, but it would add to it's brilliance if Victorinox could offer the Swiss Champ in an optional S model (Swiss ChampS) with a locking main blade.  That would be absolute perfection for me.

Pour tout vous dire, c'est le couteau de ma vie. 33 ans que je l'emporte partout avec moi. J'ai utilisé tous les outils pour leurs utilités initiale et je dois l'avouer, pour d'autres utilisations non prévues. Si certain lui reproche son poids, moi je le trouve juste parfait. En plus, il a eu le mérite de me faire aimer Victorinox et l'indiscutable précision suisse. Dans ma collection j'en ai un en version "SOS-Set", jamais utilisé et un autre qui ne me quitte pratiquement jamais et qui en a vu de toutes les couleurs. Swiss Champ est plus qu'un couteau, c'est une histoire d'amour dans le temps.

très beau couteau

Hatte als Jugendlicher das Swisschamp mit Uhr, das leider verlorengegangen ist. Als Ersatz für das alte hab ich die neue Version geschenkt bekommen und bin echt zufrieden. Die Qualität hat nicht nachgelassen. Leider gibt es die Version mit Uhr nicht mehr, nicht mal als Griffschale. Trotz allem Daumen hoch!

Ich habe dieses Messer als EDC in meiner Arbeitstasche (ebenfalls von Victorinox) es ist groß und schwer aber es ist alles dran was man braucht. Ein ganz tolles Messer was man jedem nur empfehlen kann. 
Toll ist auch das von anfang an plus griffschalen verbaut sind.

The quality of the tools is great and the design fantastic. However the quality of the metal seperating the tools is very very poor. I questioned this with customer service and was told `If you would like to return the knife you can.`
The message then went on to explain that the process used to make these parts causes the marks and any replacment would have the same marks. I decided to keep the knife but feel I havent had the quality of item or customer service I expected.

Great tool with one downfall.

A superb product well built with great thought put into its functionality. A wide variety of tools and yet in a size which still easily fits in a pocket for everyday carrying.

I’ve owned one of these for many years now, however I have found that the springs bend out of shape easily in the scissors and pliers, also over the years they have both been lost (replaced both). The knife edges when new ar3 razor sharp, but again with age the steel doesn’t respond well to sharpening, it takes an edge then loses it very quickly now. The sides get fragile with age too, I’ve had to replace them twice now, the pin has been lost due to the poor fit of replacement sides. I have just broken the end off my main knife blade, it pinged off this week, I’m guessing due to weakness from repeated sharpening over the years. Now looking to replace it. I don’t think there is a tool on it that hasn’t been used, a fantastic little knife, but misses out on 5 stars for the above reasons.

This is my third Champ (lost the previous two) in over 35 years. I found the individual tools to be the perfect fit in almost every situation over that time. The blades keep their sharpness well over time. I've even managed to use the Philips head screwdriver to open hex bolts. The build quality is excellent.
The uses are only limited to your imagination. I thoroughly recommend this as an all-round tool for any situation.

Este é o canivete perfeito para o EDC, tanto urbano quanto campeiro. Diversas utilidades que vão muito além do que as já indicadas. Material de excelente qualidade, resistente, durável e belo. EDC!

Ich wollte schon als Kind immer das "grosse" Victorinox-Messer. Hab's nach vielen Jahren dann endlich gekauft und habe es nun immer dabei. Ob auf der Arbeit, beim Wandern oder Fotografieren, es kann immer eine Situation kommen in welcher ich froh bin habe ich den Swiss Champ dabei. Zudem ist das Messer nicht überfüllt und mit den 185gramm Gewicht optimal für unterwegs.

This is a great edc knife for the UK, it is non locking and has a 3 inch blade so is legal to carry everyday. The tool set is excellent. It has got me out of a number of binds, from undoing screws and nuts , to removing thorns, carrying plastic shopping bags and even filing through a nail! Everyone should own a Swiss Champ the quality is great and although toward the larger size of knife it is still suitable to be carried in a jeans pocket.

Love my new swiss army knife does everything I need so far and looks amazing and feels great in the hand have purchased other multi tool knives that are nothing in comparison to the original and best in my opinion if you are thinking about getting one I would highly recomend may cost more than others but you get what you pay for and don't see myself needing another one for a long time

cela fait plus de 30 ans que je possède ce couteau. Il m'a servi à de multiples reprises. Il est super pour enlever les échardes lors de promenades, scier de petit morceaux de bois, scier des clous, visser/dévisser rapidement. Je ne m'en sépare jamais. Je souhaite le même mais avec en plus les outils du CyberTool

La Polyvalence même

Je possède l’équivalent du Swiss Champ (Victorinox champion 5012 sans la pince, le crochet et le stylo avec ancienne loupe plus performante) depuis 1985 (35 ans) et je le recommande fortement.

C'est un couteau très complet et certainement d’une taille idéale pour être emporté partout. Malheureusement, il est difficile de l’avoir sur soi à Paris avec tous les contrôles de sécurité.

La qualité de fabrication, la résistance et la finition de ce modèle sont à l’image de l’essentiel de la gamme Victorinox : exceptionnelles.

J’utilise le plus souvent les ciseaux, les tournevis et le poinçon alésoir.

Pour être un peu critique, Victorinox pourrait ajouter une lame dentelée, une ouverture à une main sur un 91mm (possible ?) ainsi qu’un choix plus vaste de couleurs.

Un classique

Vraiment un outil complet, compact et léger!!! On trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans la vie quotidienne sur ce couteau et même plus!!!! A consommer sans modération

Couteau multifonctions exceptionnel

I got mine back in the late 80s.  At the time including shipping it sold for nearly $100.  Friends thought I was crazy but every time we were out somewhere they were always asking if I had my Champ.  Nearly 30 years later I thought I lost my Champ on a trip to Yosemite.  I immediately got online and ordered a replacement.  This one instead of being the red panels came in a translucent green.  I later found the red Champ some 6 months later in the trunk of my car.  It has gone in for various repairs over the decades and never had any issue with them.  Typically the spring would break on the scissors or wrench.   I always carry one of the two either on me or it is near me in the car.

Ich habe mir zu Weihnachten den Swiss Champ zu Weihnachten bestellt und bin sehr positiv davon beeindruckt. 

Es ist sehr vielseitig und bietet allerlei nützliche Funktionen. 

Wer einen sehr guten Allrounder sucht, ist mit diesem Sackmesser gut aufgehoben.

Super vielseitiges Sackmesser

Ich als Grossvater kann viele Sachen von meinen Enkeln reparieren. Sie wünschen sich jeztz schon ein solches Messer. - Ich habe es seit seiner Veröffentlichung im Besitz, mit einem Lederetui immer am Hosengurt und jeden Tag im Einsatz. Es macht einfach Spass, immer ein brauchbares Werkzeug dabei zu haben.

My brother bought me a version of this knife for my birthday over 20 years ago. It’s still going strong with only a new pen and toothpick needing to be replaced. The blade holds a edge well.

Vorweg: Man muss es nicht mögen, für viele ist es zu schwer...
Aber wer das "Champ" nicht kennt, kennt Victorinox nicht.

Diesen Werkzeugkasten für die Hosentasche hatte ich mir Anno 1994 im Österreich-Urlaub gekauft und noch heute begleitet es mich auf Wanderungen, gerade im Alpinen-Bereich.

Mit diesem Messer hat man echt alles dabei und dazu noch alles kompakt!
Selbst der Moderator von "Bergauf-Bergab" auf BR2 nimmt ein solches mit auf seine Touren.

Dieses Messer muss man kennen und eigentlich auch nutzen!!
